  Its been 2 yrs since our last visit. So much has been done. This place always impresses me. Staff great. You really need to spend the whole day. We spent 4 1/2 hrs and still didn't get to see it all. So much to look at. Lovely teahouse, good food and reasonably priced. Great coffee too!!

  Every building is a museum in itself and a monument to the people of Herberton.

  Clearly a massive labour of love restoring and maintaining this amazing village, it is clear why it has won so many awards. I experienced billy tea, stew and damper - how special! Make sure you have plenty of time to take it all in and visit the teahouse and giftshop before you go.

  Wonderful fascilities, history is bought to life at this marvellous tourist attraction. Allow yourself the day to explore the whole facility. The teahouse provides delicious meals whether you're looking for morning/afternoon tea or lunch. We held our Christmas break-up here last Saturday. Wonderful.
